On the occasion of the World Toilet Summit 2007 and in the context of the Declaration of 2008 as the Internation Year of Sanitation by the United Nations, we, the participants from 44 countries, while Committing ourselves to the key of Toilet First, pedge to fulfil the Millennium Development Goal 7, Target 10, of halving the proportion of people who do not have access to safe Drinking Water and Improved Sanitation by 2015 and to provide Toilets for Al by 2025.

We solemnly affirm our resolve to accelerate the sanitation coverage in our respective countries to improve health, provide dignity and enhance the quality of life our people.
